Workplace Health Programme
Can we speak to you?
The Active Bromley Campaign (a partnership project between Bromley Mytime and LB Bromley) will be linking with the Local Health Authority to provide a selection of free tailor-made workplace physical activity and health programme for businesses as part of the Change 4 Life campaign. By working with local organisations we aim to help get businesses ‘physically’ fit and healthy.
Research by the British Heart Foundation highlights that ill health is costly to business:
In 2004, workplace absence averaged 9 days per year costing £588 per employee per year (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
The programme will not all be huff and puff. We have a range of events on offer including in-house health checks, weight loss classes, one–to-one consultations with a fitness professional and some competitive office based challenges to get your workplace active.
This is a unique opportunity for local businesses to benefit from the expertise of local health and leisure professionals, all we need from you is a ‘commit to get fit’ and the motivation to save your business money.
