School pupils flourish in the pool
John Myatt, an experienced PE teacher at St Christopher’s School, has been taking pupils to The Spa at Beckenham for over five years. John had this to say on the benefits of swimming “The instructors are of a fantastic standard, it is a priority for us to teach our pupils how to swim as it is a lifesaving skill. I have witnessed so many of our pupils who have grown in confidence and personality whilst developing their aquatic skills. For example Noel, age 12 was afraid of the water and lacked confidence when he started at the school but by the time he left he could perform all the strokes and had achieved many awards”
