Rugby Union is a team sport with many variations from the full adult 15-a-side version to non-contact Tag rugby. Young players learn the game gradually, with the contact elements being phased in as they develop.

The buzz timetables give you up to date information on Tag Rugby coaching for children taking place during term-time and school holidays at Bromley Mytime sports centres.

Bromley Mytime work in partnership with Kent RFU and local clubs through the Bromley Rugby Development group (BRDG). The aims of the group are to:

• Raise the profile of the game and increase participation for all ages and abilities e.g. Bromley District Squads, floodlit rugby competitions, taster sessions in schools and sport centres, Primary School Tag rugby festivals

• Help ensure highest standards of coaches, officials and volunteers within Bromley

• Sharing best practice between rugby clubs and assisting with external funding applications

  Schools Coaching

  Bromley Mytime deliver quality rugby coaching in schools across the borough throughout the year, covering basic skills involving ball handling, running, passing, receiving, evasion, space awareness.
