Roisin started in gymnastics at the age of 5 and now trains in trampolining 3 times per week. She has taken part in several competitions in 2009 coming 3rd Nationally in Cardiff, 14th Internationally in Holland in early 2009 and was placed 4th in July 2009 after competing for the FIG B Over 19 Ladies British Championships. Roisin said “Competitions give me a real buzz and adrenaline rush and although I still get nervous it gives me a way of seeing my progress”.
In addition she is one of the youngest Level 4 coaches for trampolining in the country and in 2009 led the Bromley London Youth Games team to victory. Roisin’s coaching has also been widely recognised and last year she also won the Bromley Volunteer of the Year award and the Lewisham Coach of the year….”It’s great being able to help the younger kids achieve their potential and knowing that there are people aspiring to your achievements.”
