How much will it cost to attend Primetime?

Primetime costs £4.20 for each visit. However, if you take out centre membership this is reduced to £3.50 for each visit.

Do I have to pay for each class I attend during a Primetime session?

No, you may attend any Primetime classes during the session for one price, this includes use of the Health Suite (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi ) if facilities are available, use of the gym (induction required), swimming and sports facilities.

What do I need to wear?

For exercise classes and using the gym, comfortable clothing such as a tee-shirt and track suit trousers are recommended. Supportive footwear such as trainers are also recommended for exercise classes, using the gym and all sports activities. Swimming costumes must be worn for all aqua based classes and swimming.

What social activities are there in the Primetime programme?

Primetime hosts a number of social events throughout the year at each individual venue, These range from short courses, get togethers, coffee mornings, health presentations, health checks and seasonal parties. We have a dedicated member of staff at each of our Leisure Centres to co-ordinate Primetime activities. This person should be your first point of call to find out all about Primetime at the venue you wish to attend.

Isn’t Primetime just for fit people?

Definitely not! Primetime offers a wide range of activities for all levels of ability and activity. These range from structured exercise classes to recreational swimming – and you can even come to Primetime for a cup of coffee and a chat with friends. Primetime has the flexibility to cater for all types of people - there is a very low intensity, functional class, ‘Everyday Active’ which is a great way to build up strength and co-ordination, and for the more adventurous, there are the all ‘hooting’ and ‘hollering’ line dancing classes!  Here at Primetime we are confident we have an activity for everyone – and activity for all…
