  • Arts Minister backs Bromley
    19 June 2008

    The Arts Minister Margaret Hodge visited Bromley Mytime on Thursday 12 June to find out about the wide range of arts provision it delivers, and experience at first hand the Moving On to Secondary School (MOSS) arts project at Southborough Primary School. The project includes a term of mixed sessions under expert tuition from Mytime’s Community Arts Team including set design, costume making, dance and drama, culminating in a musical performance at the end of the school year.

    11 June 2008 - The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games’ official torch visited Bromley yesterday as part of its tour of the capital. Councillor Colin Smith, Executive Member for Environment and Leisure, and Paul Elliott MBE, Patron of Bromley Mytime, were presented with the torch by a group of competitors from Bromley Mytime’s Youth Games Team at Newstead Wood School for Girls.

    Players and officials at Biggin Hill Football Club were visited recently by ex-Chelsea and Celtic star Paul Elliott MBE. As Patron of Bromley Mytime who manage the training pitches at Darwin Sports Centre, Paul was on hand to award the local club a certificate and plaque celebrating their achievement of gaining the FA’s Charter Development Certificate.
