Sporting Profile of Michael Gunning - Swimming

Michael swims in the National squad and trains for 14 hours per week at The Spa at Beckenham and at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Michael is currently the Kent champion for the 200m fly, 100m fly and 400m individual medley. Michael regularly competes in galas in Great Britain and is currently ranked the 7th fastest 200 butterfly for a 13 year old in Great Britain.

Michael is already on the way to fulfilling his potential and said “my future sporting aspiration is to compete in the London 2012 Olympics”.
