Bromley Swimmers visit Olympic site5 September 2008Following Bromley’s win at the 2008 Balfour Beatty London Youth Games, 3 members of the swimming team were invited to visit the 2012 Olympic site on the first day work began at the Aquatic Centre.

Bromley Supports New Secondary School entrants1 September 2008Bromley Council’s Executive Member for Children and Young People, Councillor Ernest Noad, visited Kelsey Park Sports College on Tuesday 19 August to see the Moving On to Secondary School (MOSS) summer project in action. The project also took place at The Priory and Bishop Justus schools this summer.
Bromley Athlete represents Great Britain at The Paralympic Games22 August 2008Following Bromley's winning success at the 2008 London Youth Games, the Greater London Authority (GLA) selected one Bromley competitor to attend the opening ceremony at the Paralympics Games in Beijing.
Funding opportunity for Bromley's Sports Clubs21 August 2008Local sports clubs are invited to apply to our 2008-9 club development grant scheme. The scheme is aimed at supporting local sports clubs who are committed to increasing participation, attracting new members and raising performance standards.

Extra Swimming Lessons Available at the Walnuts Leisure Centre15 August 2008

Exclusive Sessions at buzz zone at the Walnuts10 September 2008
Following the success of monthly exclusive sessions at Adventure Kingdom for families of Bromley Autistic Trust, similar sessions are now being held at buzz zone at the Walnuts Leisure Centre on Wednesdays once a month from September. These sessions will be open to families of Bromley Mencap as well as Bromley Autistic Trust.
Women Only Swimming Sessions14 September 2008These sessions are for all women, and their young children (up to 7 years old).

New Classes at Darrick Wood Pool16 September 2008
Two new group exercise classes will be starting at Darrick Wood Pool on Tuesday 16 September. These are Below the Belt at 7.00pm and Stretch and Relax at 8.00pm.
