General Gymnastics and Trampolining

General Gymnastics and Trampolining

Breathtaking to watch and exciting to perform Gymnastics is split into several disciplines within the sport. Performance gymnasts demonstrate amazing skill and exceptional strength, however Gymnastics is a sport that offers everyone a fun, social and exhilarating activity.

General Gymnastics

Embodies all forms of gymnastics and is mainly non-competitive offering opportunities to take part in displays and festivals. Gymnastics introduces people from a very early age, to the benefits of a healthy life style leading to a huge variety of opportunities and rewarding non-competitive and competitive sport.

Trampolining

An exciting sport consisting of jumps with somersaults and twists in the air. We provide a complete trampolining programme for participants to gain confidence and learn specific skills. We offer a progressive route for children from the age of 2 through to elite squads enabling them to achieve British Gymnastics Awards.

You can start with a simple bounce and end up doing multiple twists and somersaults - but whatever the level, Mytime provide excellent coaching and support working on shapes, flexibility and strength positions.

What does the Academy offer?

We provide quality structured coaching to ensure all participants are taught at their own pace according to their ability and aptitude. Classes have been programmed based on ability and experience, using age as a guide. Other improvements are around standardising our sessions across all our Centres in line with the British Gymnastics Association, to offer a consistent and effective programme. Ability levels

The entry level and course description for each of the levels - elementary, intermediate and advanced - gives a guide as to what class you need to book. If in doubt then please ask your coach or member of Bromley Mytime for advice.

All participants have the opportunity to achieve BGA badges in gymnastics and trampolining, which will aid progression through the levels.

Come along and bounce!

We want to encourage as many people as possible to participate. We offer supervised trampolining ‘drop-in’ sessions as part of our buzz and Connect programmes, including sessions for all the family to take part!
