Connect Activities

Here's a list of activities taking place as part of the Connect programme.

Archery

Get the Point! Train to be the next Robin Hood, go for gold and try something really different. No equipment or experience needed. Bring a drink, comfortable clothing and shoes/trainers.

Basketball

Passing, movement, dribbling and shooting. Come and learn the rules and skills of this fast moving, action sport. Bring a drink and wear comfortable sportswear and trainers.

Connect Sports Club

Variety of Table Tennis, Squash, Badminton, Short Tennis, Basketball and Football - supported by a fun sports coach. No equipment needed. Bring a drink and wear comfortable sportswear and trainers. Come with friends or meet people there.

DanceJam

A mix of hip hop, streetdance, salsa, Latin and disco styles combined - mixed up so the tutor offers you what you want from the session. No equipment needed. Bring a drink and wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Fencing

Have fun and try something really different! Fencing is a fast and athletic sport, so why not get the point and see if fencing is for you? No equipment or experience is needed. Bring a drink and wear comfortable clothing and shoes/trainers.

MEND Programme

The Bromley MEND Programme is a FREE 9 week course for children aged 7 to 11 years who are overweight or obese or are worried they might be. It consists of lots of games, discussions and exercise activities to improve health levels, build confidence and self esteem and impart knowledge of good diet and nutrition.

Tennis

Top coaching tips and fun hitting for all abilities in a friendly atmosphere without having to worry if you've got the latest kit or equipment - just enjoy your game. Whether you want to start playng tennis or just hire a court and have a hit with your friends, contact Bromley Tennis Centre where you can play all year round, both indoors and outdoors.

Trampolining

One of the fastest growing sports in the country is ready and waiting for you. Whether you just want to jump around or perfect your somersaults, you'll find something for you in these classes. No equipment needed. Bring a drink, wear comfortable clothing and don't forget your socks!

Tramp and Swim Combo

Saturdays at the Walnuts Leisure Centre offer the chance for a fun bounce and swim. No equipment needed. Bring a drink, comfortable clothing, socks and don't forget your swimming costume and towel.

Futsal - 5 -a-side Football

Working with Skills Academy Football coaches, learn new football freestyle moves and 5-a-side Futsal skills and put them into action during the exciting Futsal Games.  Different to most football coaching sessions this will help you to develop lots of new skills. Bring a drink, wear comfortable sportswear and trainers and shin pads (preferably).

Water Colour Art

Join our resident artist and create your first masterpieces in our popular art classes. The only limit is your imagination! These classes are exclusive to Darwin Sports Centre. Equipment purchase necessary.

Water Walkerz
