Creche

Creches are available at three of the main leisure centres so you can leave your child (under 5's only) in a safe and secure environment whilst you enjoy the centres' facilities at your leisure. Children with mild to moderate additional needs can be accommodated in the creche. Contact the individual centres for more information.

 

The Pavilion Leisure Centre

The Pavilion's OFSTED-registered creche is open Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 2.15pm and bookings are taken on the quarter to and quarter past the hour. You can leave your child/ren aged between 3 months and 5 years with our CRB checked and qualified staff to play with various equipment and take part in many different activities including a range of arts and crafts materials.

If your child requires changing, please ensure that you bring with you nappies and a change of clothes if necessary. Any drinks should have the child's name clearly labelled on it.

For Health and Safety reasons, if your child has had a bout of sicknees or diarrhoea, please leave a period of 24 hours after recovery before coming to the creche.

Open mornings are also held throughout the year  with a theme relating to different events where mums and dads can stay and chat and play with their children in a fun, safe environment. The Spa at Beckenham

The OFSTED-registered creche is open from 9.00am to 1.00pm during term time, with hours varying during school holiday periods.

 We accept children from the age of 3 months up to pre-school 4 years and 11 months.

Please bring a drink/bottle for your child. Baby food in jars is also welcome and nappy changing items should also be left with creche staff.

To aid in the settling-in procedure, we encourage a short stay with your child in the first instance and when your child has settled, you can take advantage of a 2 hour maximum stay for your child in our creche while you enjoy using our leisure facilities or simply relax over a coffee!

The Walnuts Leisure Centre

The creche is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9.30am to 1.00pm, on Wednesdays from 9.15am to 1.15pm and Thursdays from 9.30am to 1.30pm. We are open all year round apart from bank holidays and closed for one week at Christmas.

Children are welcome from age 8 weeks to 5 years old. The qualified staff are committed to providing high quality child care. All activities are planned according to children's individual needs. We have a baby corner and craft activities for older children. This is a popular creche with warm, friendly staff and is OFSTED- registered.

Costs

The price for  members  for all creches is £2.30 per child per hour and places can be booked up to 12 days in advance.

For non-members, the cost is £3.00 per child per hour and places can be booked up to 3 days in advance.
