Athletics

Athletics covers a wide range of disciplines for all ages and abilities, including running, jumping and throwing. Bromley Mytime, through a partnership with Blackheath & Bromley Harriers Athletics Club and Norman Park Track Management, offer a huge variety of opportunities to participate, improve and compete in all athletic disciplines.

The Buzz  Timetables give you up to date information on athletics coaching for children taking place during term-time and school holidays at Bromley Mytime sports centres.

Blackheath & Bromley Harriers Athletics Club

(external link)www.bandbhac.org.uk A top performing club in the country, the club’s young junior athlete team are the current National Champions and the junior women came 5th in the European Club Cup  The Club offers participation and competitive opportunities in many athletic disciplines including track & field, cross-country and road-running for children and adults of varying ages and abilities. The Club’s Bees Academy is a coaching initiative for children in school years 4, 5, 6 & 7. Covering running, jumping and throwing events with UK Athletics licensed coaches, sessions are held during term time on Mondays 6pm, Wednesdays 6pm and Saturdays 9am at Norman Park Athletics Track, Bromley. Norman Park Athletics Track

Norman Park Track Management (NPTM) is responsible for the hire of Norman Park Athletics Track, Hayes Lane, Bromley. NPTM also offer Mini Track Stars athletics coaching for children aged 6 to 10 years. Courses include a combination of structured athletics disciplines with the emphasis on fun whilst learning new skills. Courses should be booked in advance directly with NPTM on 020 8462 5134.

Schools Coaching

Bromley Mytime deliver quality athletics coaching in schools across the borough throughout the year, covering throwing, jumping, running, speed and stamina. Sessions are delivered before school, after school, during lunchtime or curriculum time. For full details of our services for schools click here.
