Natasha Tardivel, one of Bromley Mytime’s expert dance teachers, led two schools to success at the recent Schools Sports Partnership Bromley Dance Festival in March 2008.
St George’s Primary School won the trophy for ‘Best Overall Performance and Facial Expression’, and Bromley Road School were awarded the winning trophy for ‘Best Entertainment Value’.
Congratulations to Natasha and all of her star pupils!
Ayesha Chowdhury, a fantastic visual and crafts artist who joined the Community Arts Team at the beginning of 2008, recently lead a hugely successful T-shirt design project to launch the Myfuture project, a Connect’ project funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
The sessions ran at Castlecombe Youth Centre and over the course of 2 days young people custom designed and made their own T-shirts. The age range of participants was from 10-17 and over 45 young people took part. Young people attended later sessions that week at the youth club still wearing the T-shirts.
