Rugby is an increasingly popular sport with both boys and girls, and as a team sport, it caters for all types of ability. Bromley Mytime works in partnership with Kent RFU and local clubs through the Bromley Rugby Development group (BRDG) to offer a huge variety of school and club based rugby union opportunities for boys and girls across a wide age range.
Schools coaching
Bromley Mytime provide a range of coaching packages specifically for schools. This includes curriculum time coaching, breakfast/after school and lunch time clubs.
Primary school sessions are based around Tag Rugby, with basic skills involving ball handling, running, passing, receiving, evasion, space awareness. Tackling and scrums & line outs can be gradually introduced in a safe and secure method when called for.
