ISRM Pool Plant Operator Certificate

Who Should Attend

All staff who may have a responsibility for the day-to-day operation of pools.

Course Overview

To provide delegates with the knowledge to maintain pool plant and associated equipment.

Course Content

Day One

Water sources and pollution, hygiene factors with the pool complex, Chlorine disinfection, pH and Alkalinity, Chemicals, Health & Safety.

Day Two

Scale and corrosion, water testing & balanced water tests, Case studies

Day Three

Filters and circulation, Ancillary equipment, ventilation, Energy conservation, followed by 50 Question test paper and distribution of assignment which needs to be undertaken in the workplace within one month.

Qualification

Delegates will be awarded The National Pool Plant Operators Certificate which is valid for three years, after which delegates must attend a National Pool Plant Revalidation course.
